Ponta dos Ganchos, located on a small headland in a secluded bay of the Emerald Coast, is a prime example of barefoot luxury. The cuisine is exceptional, the views from the bungalows are stunning and its friendly local staff makes your stay memorable.

The 25 bungalows, well distributed in 24 acres of landscaped gardens for maximum privacy, are furnished to high specifications with king size beds, electronic safe, mini bar and cable TV as standard facilities. The highest categories, the open plan Villas, have their own private garden or patio deck, pool, sauna and some extra luxuries such as double bathrooms and closets.

Leisure facilities include a secluded beach, indoor heated swimming pool, fitness centre, tennis court, Spa by Christian Dior, games room, and cinema.

The resort green credentials are equally impressive: effluents are all treated, waste is recycled or composted and they just started producing their own organic vegetables. The new bungalows have been built with the latest green technology and the trend should continue with the renovation of the original rooms. Most importantly, contrary to most luxury hotels, they have invested in local staff since the beginning, with almost 90% of their employees recruited from the surroundings.
